If your 2003-12 GM Truck or SUV has a hideaway XM module (U2K)? the BT5x module is for you!
To verify vehicle has the requires XM module, simply press the radio "BAND" button to cycle through FM1, FM2, AM, XM; if XM1/2 appears your vehicle supports the new BT5x-GM3x Hands-free and music streaming kit, but if only AM/FM is displayed; this kit, sadly will NOT work. The BT5x-GM3x connects to the hideaway XM module usually behind glovebox (trunks, SUV's etc.) and allows users to pair smartphone and hold Hands-free calls, stream internet music services, turn-by-turn directions, audio books and more on the car audio system. For this kit to work, the selected vehicle (see drop-down at the top of this page), must have an XM tuner module without subscription (subscription must have expired otherwise XM playback will be disabled upon installing this module). To retain XM subscription; purchase our BTH-GM3x instead.
