Looking for a simple wired solution to connect/play smartphone and other audio devices on Landrover Visteon radio?
Your older Land Rover still runs great, but lack support for more attractive modern media formats, and if well beyond CD's, cassettes or listening to the same old commercials on the radio, the LRDF-AUX is for you! The LRDF-AUX auxiliary input adapter allows Land Rovers owners to retain the original Visteon radio and be able to connect and play portable audio devices. This adapter works on the original Visteon radio in select 1987-06 Land Rovers by converting the 10-pin radio socket (reserved for remote CD changer) into a 3.5mm (1/8") input jack. Once installed, users are able to connect a Smartphone, MP3 player, DVD player, XM radio kit, iPod, Zune etc. and because it connects directly to the radio (Not FM modulated), playback is of excellent quality and fidelity. For a streaming (wireless) solutions, see our BT3-LRDF.
The LRDF-AUX takes the place of the CD changer which means the factory changer (if present) must be disconnected.
