The older Alpine radio in your car still works great and you have no reason to change it; and if well beyond listening to the same commercials on the radio, CD's or tapes; then the BT2-ALPAi is for you! Unlike other adapters that work exclusively on aux ready radios; the BT2-ALPAi works on the AI-NET CD changer port as if it was a CD changer and because of that the "SKIP" up/down buttons on the radio are used to skip tracks. So, thanks to the BT2-ALPAI any Alpine Ai-NET radio with "CD shuttle controls" is able to support music streaming from A2DP devices including Smartphones, Tablets, Kindles, Laptops etc. Simply connect module to the radios AI-net socket, pair smart device and be on your way to enjoying music apps, turn-by-turn directions and more. This Bluetooth solution leaves no wires or clutter on or around the dash and is the adapter you want for wireless streaming connectivity without investing in a new radio. Any Alpine options such as CD changer, Satellite radio, DVD etc. already connected to the AI-NET port must be disconnected and will no longer function.

3. Compatible radio must have a "SOURCE" or "DISC" button on faceplate AND Ai-net socket port on the back.
4. Alpine CD changer, iPod adapter etc. (if present), must be disconnected. To retain, purchase Alpine KCA-410C Multi-Changer adapter.

Defective returns:
Our returns policy differs from than of other online merchants so we encourage everyone to read the returns policy page it in its entirety prior to ordering.
Defective returns eligible for warranty repair or replacement service:
Within the first 10 days, Discount Car Stereo will replace any defective or damaged part and provide a pre-paid return label (US Customers only). (Pre-paid labels are not issued for other reasons).
After 10 days of receipt, customer covers return shipping cost, however we cover shipping cost to supplier/manufacturer, and also the cost to ship back to you. If original purchase can't be replaced (discontinued etc.), we reserve the right to provide a substitute part of higher or equal value. Any claims for missing parts must be made within 7 days of delivery.

We are a family owned and operated specialty car stereo and accessory store and as such every effort is made to get your order processed and shipped at soon as possible; but because 95% of our offerings are made to order (not sitting on shelf collecting dust). Additional time (usually 2-4 working days) is required after which time orders are shipped using shipping method selected at checkout. Products requiring assembly includes this graphic in addition to warning messages at the bottom of product description page.
Paying for a faster delivery method (e.g. Express mail, Priority mail etc.) for products requiring "assembly" does NOT speed up assembly (built by hand) time; however, it does speed up delivery time after shipment.
Delivery time for in stock products requiring assembly= Assembly time (2-4 working days) + transit time (shipping method).

Except for Priority Mail Express® (Overnight Delivery*), USPS delivery times for Priority Mail® and USPS Ground Advantage™ are estimates and are not guaranteed; however ship time to most states is between 2-7 working days.
International orders require additional paperwork and processing time (6-10 days) prior to shipping and due to many factors (custom inspections, carrier changeovers etc. ) we care not able to determine delivery times .
