When you decide to replace the radio in a CAN-BUS vehicle with the factory Amp a special interface is required.

The New RP4-CH11 (Revision 1.3.3) Radio Replacement Interface requires no programming or complex installation methods. In one unit you get a complete solution for radio replacement and steering wheel control functions. The RP4-CHY11 communicates directly with the vehicle’s databus and comes pre-loaded with software that retains OEM amplifier, Steering wheel Software, 12V Accessory, Vehicle Speed Sense (VSS), Illumination, Parking Brake, and Reverse gear indicator features making it ideal for installing aftermarket Navigation or non-navigation Radios while maintaining the vehicle wiring integrity (also great for lease vehicles). If not retaining steering wheel controls, use the C2R-CHY4 instead.
» Connects directly to the 3.5mm Steering wheel control jack on select aftermarket radios.
» Provides 12V Accessory output and Vehicle Speed Sensor output (VSS) for Navigation system installation
» Provides illumination output, Parking Break output and Reverse signal output (not for manual transmission)

2. In Premium Amplified Systems only two input channels can be used from the aftermarket radio, therefore the aftermarket stereo will not fade

Defective returns eligible for warranty repair or replacement service:
Within the first 10 days, Discount Car Stereo will replace any defective or damaged part and provide a pre-paid return label (US Customers only). (Pre-paid labels are not issued for other reasons).
After 10 days of receipt, customer covers return shipping cost, however we cover shipping cost to supplier/manufacturer, and also the cost to ship back to you. If original purchase can't be replaced (discontinued etc.), we reserve the right to provide a substitute part of higher or equal value. Any claims for missing parts must be made within 7 days of delivery.

We are a family owned and operated specialty car stereo and accessory store and as such every effort is made to get your order processed and shipped at soon as possible; but because 95% of our offerings are made to order (not sitting on shelf collecting dust). Additional time (usually 2-4 working days) is required after which time orders are shipped using shipping method selected at checkout. Products requiring assembly includes this graphic in addition to warning messages at the bottom of product description page.
Paying for a faster delivery method (e.g. Express mail, Priority mail etc.) for products requiring "assembly" does NOT speed up assembly (built by hand) time; however, it does speed up delivery time after shipment.
Delivery time for in stock products requiring assembly= Assembly time (2-4 working days) + transit time (shipping method).

Except for Priority Mail Express® (Overnight Delivery*), USPS delivery times for Priority Mail® and USPS Ground Advantage™ are estimates and are not guaranteed; however ship time to most states is between 2-7 working days.
International orders require additional paperwork and processing time (6-10 days) prior to shipping and due to many factors (custom inspections, carrier changeovers etc. ) we care not able to determine delivery times .
