Connect and play potable audio devices in 2003-12 GM vehicle with hideaway XM module (U2K) and/or RSE (DVD) without cutting or splicing!

Is your 2003-12 GM truck, car or SUV fitted with a hideaway XM module and/or RSE (DVD)? If so, that is great news if looking to connect and play music from smartphone and other portable audio devices with a 3.5mm jack and if you prefer streaming; purchase our BTA-GM3x instead. For this cable to work as described, please confirm vehicle has the required XM module by pressing the "BAND" button on AM/FM radio (headunit) and cycle AM/FM/XM/DAB (Canada). If only FM/AM is displayed; the AUX-GM3x, sadly will NOT work. With the AUX-GM3x installed; users are able to connect and play portable audio devices (e.g. Smartphone, iPod, MP3 player and more) on the factory system without interfering with XM or RSE playback. To install; connect male 16-pin plug to XM module (usually behind glove box, hatch or trunk area), route and secure jack on or near dashboard (4mm or 5/32" shaft) and plug-in audio device. To listen to XM (if subscribed) or DVD (on car speakers) simply unplug audio cable from AUX jack (jack must be empty) -- its that simple--- no complicated setup, switches, cutting or splicing.
Alert:If audio device does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack (e.g. iPhone, Android etc.), purchase our BTA-GM3x wireless/Bluetooth solution instead.

1. Works in 2003-12 GM Class-II vehicles listed in drop-down with hideaway XM module (With or without subscription/with or without RSE.
2. Connects to 16-pin socket on hideaway XM module (Does not fit AM/FM radio). Read install guide for possible XM module location.
3. XM subscription not required but vehicle must have the hideaway XM module with or without RSE. Will not work without XM module.
4. To retain XM subscription, select "Subscribed" otherwise select "Not subscribed". If NOT currently subscribed but plan to at a later date; select "Subscribed" otherwise XM will not play once activated.
5. Vehicle must have hideaway XM module (U2K) regardless of subscription status.
6. Cable is available in 4 (default), 6, 8, 10 and 12 ft. lengths. Measure distance between hideaway XM module and potential jack location. See drop-down.

** Expired subscription means vehicle has an XM module but not subscribed to service (only able to tune the preview channel 1/184.)

1. Your vehicle MUST HAVE hideaway XM module (silver box). Subscription status could be active or expired. Don't ignore this.
2. Hideaway XM module is a silver box in remote area; (not built-into AM/FM radio). Click here for help locating XM module.
3. This cable requires assembly (build) and will not ship same day. After assembly (2-4 days) it is then shipped using method selected at checkout.
