The AUX-JAG97 Auxiliary input adapter works on 1994-97 radios with TAPE/CD" button on faceplate (e.g. DBC10425, DBC6437 etc.)
The AUX-JAG97 provides a way to connect a portable music player designed to be used with headphones. This allows the audio from the portable music player (e.g. Smartphone, MP3, iPod, Tablet, Carplay and more) to be played through the vehicle speakers with high fidelity in addition users are able to change tracks using radio "SEEK" button if the audio device supports TRRS.
Attach one end of the included audio extension cable to the headphone output of your player and the other end of the audio extension cable to the AUX in port on the module, press the "TAPE/CD" button on radio and enjoy crystal clear audio playback from audio device and charging and is the accessory you want if looking for a wired connection without investing in a new radio.

1. Works on the radio in 1994-97 XJ (X300) radios (e.g. AJ9100R/W, AJ9150R/W, AJ9200R/W, AJ9250R/W, AJ9500A/R, AJ9475A (LHE4100FA), Aj9600A (LJA4100BA) etc. (Tape/CD button on faceplate).
2. Works on the radio in late 1997 XK8 radio AJ9600A(BA) etc. with Tape/CD button on faceplate)
3. Not applicable to late 1997 XK8 (X100) with Ai-NET style connection in luggage compartment. These require our AUX-JAG or AUX-JAGR
4. Connects to the radio 8-pin "CD" socket behind dash. Also works if connected to pre-wired CD plug in luggage compartment.
5. Optional CD changer (e.g. LXF4160BA, DBC10432 etc.); if present, must be disconnected. To retain CD changer functionality purchase our BTA-JAG97CD or BTH-JAG97CD instead.
