Keep original radio, CD changer (required) and upgrade to streaming audio on factory system.
If tired of the same old commercials on the radio or tracks in the CD changer; the BTA-MBCD (formerly A2D-MBCD) is able to add your smartphone to the mix. The compatible 1994-99 Mercedes Benz must have a functioning 6-disc changer in trunk or hatch which remains connected and functional. (If vehicle does not have a functioning 6-disc changer; purchase our A2D-MBR instead).
Installation is a simple as removing the radio and connecting module behind the dash and after a short pairing session to Bluetooth device (e.g. Smartphone, iPad, tablet, kindle etc.), you are on your way to enjoying audio content including Apple music, Pandora, audio books, GPS guidance and more plus able to keep device charged via the built-in USB charger (5V/2A). When in the mood for CD’s simply press Pause/Play button on remote control. This plug-n-play solution leaves no wires or clutter on or around the dash and is the accessory you want if looking for Bluetooth streaming connectivity without compromising the factory system or altering the look and feel of dashboard components.

1. Works in select 1994-99 Mercedes vehicles listed in drop-down with 6-disc changer model: MC3194, MC3196 or MC3296. 1999+ digital optic CD changers (e.g. MC3198 etc.) are not compatible.
2. Connects to 10-pin CD changer socket on radio. Not applicable to 1999+ Mercedes digital optic radios (See Note #4).
3. The required 6-disc CD changer must be in working condition (fully functional). Any malfunction or if there is no changer; will require our A2D-MBR instead.
4. Not applicable to 1999+ Mercedes Audio 10, 20, 30, 50, Comand optical radios. See our iSFM2351 or A2D-MBFM instead.

Defective returns eligible for warranty repair or replacement service:
Within the first 10 days, Discount Car Stereo will replace any defective or damaged part and provide a pre-paid return label (US Customers only). (Pre-paid labels are not issued for other reasons).
After 10 days of receipt, customer covers return shipping cost, however we cover shipping cost to supplier/manufacturer, and also the cost to ship back to you. If original purchase can't be replaced (discontinued etc.), we reserve the right to provide a substitute part of higher or equal value. Any claims for missing parts must be made within 7 days of delivery.

We are a family owned and operated specialty car stereo and accessory store and as such every effort is made to get your order processed and shipped at soon as possible; but because 95% of our offerings are made to order (not sitting on shelf collecting dust). Additional time (usually 2-4 working days) is required after which time orders are shipped using shipping method selected at checkout. Products requiring assembly includes this graphic in addition to warning messages at the bottom of product description page.
Paying for a faster delivery method (e.g. Express mail, Priority mail etc.) for products requiring "assembly" does NOT speed up assembly (built by hand) time; however, it does speed up delivery time after shipment.
Delivery time for in stock products requiring assembly= Assembly time (2-4 working days) + transit time (shipping method).

    We'll, it took me a little longer to find the time to Install the adapter kit on the S600 W140 but did so today. All I can say is, "Wow!" That has got to be (1) possibly the simplest job I've ever done on a vehicle and (2) an upgrade that brings more satisfaction value than any other I can recall. Yes, plug-pair-play. No snags, no issues, 10 minutes.
    I really like it.
