Defective returns eligible for warranty repair or replacement service:
Within the first 10 days, Discount Car Stereo will replace any defective or damaged part and provide a pre-paid return label (US Customers only). (Pre-paid labels are not issued for other reasons).
After 10 days of receipt, customer covers return shipping cost, however we cover shipping cost to supplier/manufacturer, and also the cost to ship back to you. If original purchase can't be replaced (discontinued etc.), we reserve the right to provide a substitute part of higher or equal value. Any claims for missing parts must be made within 7 days of delivery.

    I worked with Jay and the team over the last few months by providing my CR-1 (Porsche 968) unit for additional R&D work for this unit. They could not have been more helpful in the process by providing updates and expert advice regarding the installation in my car and even making small repairs to the unit.

    I now have the original CR-1 back into the 968 (1993 model), using the original under seat amplifiers. Not only does the Bluetooth unit operate without fail (instant connection, never needing to be paired after the initial setup to my Iphone), and with excellent sound quality - by using the CR-1 the sound quality much improved over the previous (and typical for the 2000's) JVC CD-player single-din headunit. I cannot over state that, as I first replaced all the speakers in the 968 without seeing much improvement, until I put the CR-1 back.. totally worth the hassle.

    I now have the original, back to OEM look, with all the nice features of that time period with dials for balance/fader/bass/treble - instead of it locked behind a menu, better sound and full Bluetooth connectivity. Very happy wit the unit and the service of Jay and the team.
