This cable is exclusive to having a functioning separate player (not built-into the radio) in lower dash or below climate controls.

Many 1995-05 GM cars, trucks and Vans in addition to the Theftlock AM/FM/CD or Tape radio (in upper dash), may also include a separate single CD, Tape or CD changer in lower dash or below climate controls. If your vehicle (in addition to the AM/FM radio), has one of the aforementioned separate players; the AUX-GM1 provides an input jack for playback of portable audio devices (e.g. Smartphone, Tablet, iPod, MP3 Player etc.); while also retaining the rest of the factory audio system. The AUX-GM1 connects to 9-pin socket on the back of the AM/FM Theftlock radio and the included 3.5mm jack is used to connect portable audio devices. (For a wireless connection via Bluetooth, purchase our BTA-GM1 instead.) To listen to separate unit, simply unplug audio cable form jack-- its that simple--- no complicated setup or wiring.

For the AUX-GM1 to work as described, vehicle must include a functioning separate player. If separate player malfunctions in any way or is missing; the AUX-GM1 will not work. 1. Works in 1995-05 listed in drop-down with main AM/FM radio and a functioning separate player: (CD, Tape or multi-disc changer) lower dash. (Will not work without one)
2. Warning!! CD or TAPE built-into radio is NOT a separate player. Separate players are installed below climate controls or lower dash.
 3. The "CD" or "TAPE" player built-into AM/FM/radio remains functional.
4. For proper operation, a "Disc" or "Cassette" must be loaded to separate player. If separate player malfunctions in any way, the AUX-GM1 will not work.
 5. Connects to 9-pin socket on main AM/FM/CD or Tape radio. (Does not connect to separate player)
6. Cable is approximately 4 ft. long
7. The "CD" or "TAPE" player built-into the AM/FM radio remains operational

Defective returns eligible for warranty repair or replacement service:
Within the first 10 days, Discount Car Stereo will replace any defective or damaged part and provide a pre-paid return label (US Customers only). (Pre-paid labels are not issued for other reasons).
After 10 days of receipt, customer covers return shipping cost, however we cover shipping cost to supplier/manufacturer, and also the cost to ship back to you. If original purchase can't be replaced (discontinued etc.), we reserve the right to provide a substitute part of higher or equal value. Any claims for missing parts must be made within 7 days of delivery.

Paying for a faster delivery method (e.g. Express mail, Priority mail etc.) for products requiring "assembly" does NOT speed up assembly (built by hand) time; however, it does speed up delivery time after shipment.
