Hands-free calls and streaming are possible in older GM with separate players in lower dash or below climate controls
Many 1995-05 GM car, trunks and vans in addition to main AM/FM Theftlock radio (top of the dash), may also have a separate player (CD, TAPE or CD changer) in lower dash or below climate controls. If vehicle DOES NOT have a separate player, the BTH-GM1 will not work. See our BT3-GM1.
This double play kit supports: (1) Hands-free profile (HFP) which is not only less distracting than trying to juggle a phone while steering but also the only legal way to do it in many states. (2) Audio streaming (A2DP) allows users to wirelessly stream Apple music, Pandora, Spotify, Tune In, etc., turn-by-turn directions and more. Charging: the built-in USB port provides 5V/2A to keep devices charged while on the road. With the included wireless remote control users are able to change tracks, adjust volume, answer/end calls, switch between streaming and separate player etc. all while keeping eyes on the road. The required separate player (single CD, Tape or multi-disc changer) remains connected and functional. This clean solution leaves no wires or clutter on or around the dash and is the perfect solution for older GM vehicle owners looking to retain the original system while adding Bluetooth connectivity.

3. For proper operation, a "Disc" or "Cassette" must remain in separate player. If separate player malfunctions in any way, the BTH-GM1 will also malfunction. See our BT3-GM1 instead.
4. Compatible vehicles (see drop-down) must have at least one separate player in lower dash or CD changer in trunk/hatch (Don't ignore this warning).
5. If vehicle does NOT have a separate player, or if separate player has a malfunction; purchase our BT3-GM1 instead.

7. Both the "CD" or "TAPE" player built-into AM/FM radio and separate player remains fully functional.
